Rolex Boutique

A luxury mono brand outlet, located on the main promenade in the capital city, this project required to be in keeping with stringent brand identity. A seventies style clothing store was transformed into a sumptuous retail space.

A backlit, wavy, solid green resin wall - the aquaglass - that is a standard element in all Rolex boutiques – was placed on the floor as a skylight to brighten up the basement room. Controversial at first, it was introduced into the space, allowing light to filter through to the gallery space.

Working in a small area on the main pedestrian street of the capital came with a set of challenges. Though accessibility and bureaucratic hurdles caused daily delays for the construction and management team, high standards of detail and finish were achieved, as a result of the shared vision between studio and client.
